A teen taught me how to "Give"

The Camp Administrator gets to receive or open "love offerings" FIRST!

One envelope came last week & had on it "For Uth Camp. The Lord shall provide for all our needs. For His glory!" Today, a cheque of $400+ arrived quietly. It came from a teenager! I, a very "mature" (a nicer word for old, be nice K? :p) adult, was thoroughly humbled by that act of love towards God.

"Matthew 26:7 There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat [at meat]. 26:8 But when his disciples saw [it], they had indignation, saying, To what purpose [is] this waste? 26:9 For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor." I almost fell like v8, "Why don't you keep it for yourself? There are adults around to help." Thank God for He kept me off the edge. I was thoroughly rebuked, humbled & preserved from more wrongs. Was I despising the youth?

I'd rather have Jesus than silver or gold (song: I'd rather have Jesus)
You have given gold & silver, will you give to me [God] your lives? (song: To whom much has been given)

Thank God. We have received a total of $930 as love offerings for Uth Camp 2007 thus far & $133.70 was collected at last Friday's Uth Worship Service.

This thing called "Giving" = let's give in the form of funds, time, talents, energy, specialties & how about "your lives," devotions?....for His glory! :-)

From Uth Ministry, "Thank God for the love gifts. Thank you for your love gifts in various ways." To God be the glory for great things He had done! Amen
