"The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few." By His grace, Matthew 9:37 came alive to me during my time in the Philippines!
Many times, the thought of sharing the gospel to strangers scares me, not to mention preaching from classroom to classroom in a foreign land. But God overruled my fears. Due to the high alert of H1N1, all of my coaching (floorball) jobs were canceled and even a tournament was postponed. God removed all roadblocks and was making the way crystal clear for me! No excuses now…

Upon the start on the crusade, I couldn’t sleep well for the first two nights. I was nervous about forgetting the gospel verses and fumbling during my sharing. But before I knew it, I was sharing the gospel to 3-4 classrooms everyday and even had several opportunities to do street evangelism. I have to admit that even after 2 weeks of sharing, my heart would still thump loudly upon stepping into a classroom. Pastor Mike had taught us to make a crucial exchange before we stepped into every classroom; the exchange of our weaknesses for God’s strength and power. God never failed me, or anyone of us for that matter. The Holy Spirit’s work is to convict hearts and it was merely our duty to share the gospel and let Him do the rest. I was truly humbled to be used as a mouthpiece to share the Good News and witness many souls saved!

After 3 weeks of the crusade, the gospel was preached to 30,263 souls and 20,776 decisions were made! Yes the harvest truly is plentiful, white and ready for harvest! This experience is definitely the highlight of my Christian walk. Will you let it be yours too?
The crusade is currently running for another 2 weeks. Please continue to pray for the rest of the team, Pastor Mike, Yufei, Melody, Jeremy, Ray, my siblings Jill, Benjamin and the Filipino workers. For opened doors to campuses, for good health to continue spreading the gospel. To God be the glory, great things He has done!
