It all started with a change in the facebook status of a friend. His facebook status was like this "_______ (name of the friend which I shall not mention) shall bend religious rules. A lot." This struck me hard. Here was a friend, whom I knew to have just decided to come back to God, crumbling at the face of wordly temptations. I felt a tug at my heart, and decided to comment on his status. At first, he did not reply to the comment. I then chose to send him a youtube video (which I've attached here) of a worship song that spoke to me, hoping that it would speak to him.
Well God's hand was definitely upon this friend of mine, and a few days later, he replied to me on facebook through email. I quote, "hello! thanks for the message that day. i chose the world that night and was headed for ruin, but thankfully, i didn't avoid church the day after. worship was thoroughly edifying and...i was pulled back! i was just...extremely unhappy with who i was and was tempted to join the world in their ways. the temptation happens from time to time, and this time i failed to withstand it. thanks once again!"
Thank God for working in this friend, and thank God for his willingness to come back to Him too. It has been such a blessing to see how God works =) Let us continue to press on in reaching out to friends in need and showing forth God's love, and be blessing in return.
In His love,
Pat

we gotta love enough to take the chance... thank GOD. do it for me if I go the wrong way, ok?
We should also thank God for the friends we have around us. And may God help us too to be the friend He wants us to be towards others.
