We rejoiced to hear the news of a fellow Singaporean rescued from the JAWS of DEATH!
Many rescuers and soldiers braved heavy rain in a race against time and hope to reach survivors. One of those rescued was 55-year-old Singaporean businessman John Lee, who was pulled out alive from the rubble of a five-storey hotel that came crashing down, trapping him for 30 hours.
