BUT what does God see?

This simple post which is going to be made up of only a few sentences stems from an epic e-mail I just read.

"For as he thinks in his heart, so is he." Proverbs 23:7 NKJV

When we look at ourselves, sometimes all we see is disappointment, failure, frustration, etc etc. In fact, we see all that we're not, in all the ways that we don't live up to expectations or how we continually fall back into habitual sin or the like, and we think, "God must hate me" or "How could God love me" or "I am such a waste of His time"...and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

But it's time to dig a little deeper and ask ourselves the question, "but how does GOD see us?"

And the answer is "God sees us redeemed, righteous through the blood of Jesus Christ, a masterpiece in progress, an unfinished work".

When we look at ourselves critically all we have eyes for is our inability, but when God looks at us, He sees astounding possibilities. God sees unrealized potential.

That's a powerful truth people, it spoke to me quite personally and hard. It's time to start living like real Christians in the realization of who God is and who we are in Him!!
