Hello! I'm back after being away for so long. The one month spent at Cambodia was indeed a blessed trip for me! Thank God for opening the door for me to go on this mission trip and also for letting me experience the life of a missionary first hand! In case you guys didn't know, a small group of us (Jia Hao, Michelle Kuan, Samantha, and I) flew over to Cambodia on the 24th Feburary 2010. This trip was planned so that we can see and be involved in the work at Cambodia.

At the Children's Home, the children never fail to brighten up my day every single day of my stay there. They are happy and cheerful most of the time, contented with what they have. However, behind each smiley faces, there lies a different story of their background altogether. It aches my heart to hear about their lives, but it is really amazing to see how God work in their lives after staying in the Children's Home. The children under Goducate are the shining light for their homeland and hold a bright future. They can create an impact in their homeland. All these will take years to train them and i'm thankful to see how God has raise up the people to be faithfully serving in this mission field.
Proverbs 22:6- Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
I'm blessed to see how God is raising these children up to serve Him, and it was a great encouragement for me to see them leading Sunday school, worship and inviting people for their services. Indeed, there's no age limit for the Lord to use! He can use anyone, including you!

The children there are really adorable. You will definitely love them when you see them! Anyway, please do feel free to pop by this website to know more about the happenings at the Children's Home in Cambodia and to uphold them in prayers too!
I would like to take this chance to thank Pastor Noe and his wife, Aunty Grace, and family for their warm hospitality to us! Thank God for their surrendered life and obedience to God's calling into the mission field! It has been a great one month with them and many precious lessons in which I've learnt personally. Such experiences are priceless :) Please remember to uphold our dear brother, Jia Hao, in prayer as he is still at Cambodia till May. May the Lord use him in a very special way while he is still there!
Please take a moment to pray for the mission field, the children and the Lord of the harvest to send forth His labourers as well! :)
Much love,
Catherine :)
