“Seek ye first the Kingdom of God… and all these things should be added unto you” Matt 6:33. When I was in Bible School, people would always ask, “When are you going to get a girlfriend?” To which, the verse was conveniently my reply. It was initially my excuse but gradually with time, it became true. God knows that if He had brought anyone before I was ready, the tendency would’ve been to love the “anyone” more than I love God. His timing is perfect. It is only when I have truly learned to love God first that He brought Mimi into my life. After all, what better way to love the woman He brought into my life through the love of God!

Many times, we are always trying to seek for the “Right” person but have we ever stopped for a moment and asked ourselves if we are doing our part to be the Right” person? After all, being in a courtship is about seeking God’s will with regard to whom He has for us to walk the rest of our life journey together with! In a relationship, it also requires us to give of our time and effort in order to make it a “Right” relationship. This is because “LOVE” is spelt as “GIVE”.
