How should I describe this trip...?
Well, there were Annabel, Narissa, Dennis, Hock Chai, Jia Hao, Zhang Shuo and me--only 7 of us.
Another info is that I cycle like a 7-yr old. And while we were cycling, not only did the rest have to help me, wait for me, etc, but the rain also poured at mid-afternoon.
So how does that sound so far? Great? Exciting? I wouldn't quite describe it that way. But I would have to say it was worth it all. (Hm, at least for me.. ha). I saw a side of each of them which I've not seen or would've seen at regular Friday fellowships.
First, Jia Hao came despite having a sprained ankle already. He and the 5 others came and expressed their support for ICE. Oh, please do remember his sprained ankle in prayer :)
Second, Annabel and Narissa were like a cheering team that kept encouraging me through the trip. And Dennis, Hock Chai, Jia Hao and Zhang Shuo were so very patient as well.
Third, as I mentioned, I ran into people a number of times, but I particular injured this young lady. She was very gracious and kind, and I was fortunate that she didn't yell at me. Came to find out, I caused the lady to sprain her ankle. It was also Zhang Shuo and Dennis who went back to check on her situation.
All in all, I thank the Lord placing these 6 people on this trip. I thank Him for His mercy too because the rain only started pouring heavily when we reached the zhi-char restaurant.
And to Annabel, Narissa, Dennis, Hock Chai, Jia Hao and Zhang Shuo, . . . thank you :)
(Ha, and to the other Uths. . . don't worry, I'll join another cycling trip only after some practicing on my own ;) )
