Reflections: ARE YOU READY?

God has really opened my eyes to the work of His hands. As I am writing this, I am rejoicing over what I have read on www.he-still-answers.blogspot.com. It is a testament to the power of His love.

For those who know me, I really do have a big problem when I have to speak in front of an audience. But I thank God that He provided me with the courage every single time I stepped into the classroom. Each time I was travelling in the van, the thought of whether I would be able to carry the gospel well enough always came to me. But God gives reminders in Proverbs 21:1 that even the King’s heart is in God’s hands. Not I but Christ. God just took over and worked in the hearts of the students.

Thank God for teaching me how to love these people. There really is a difference when you preach the gospel with love to people. Throughout this trip God showed me this passage, 1 Corinthians 13. Indeed, without love we are nothing. God’s love is truly the greatest of all, and I pray God will continue to teach me how to love wherever I go.

Do continue to pray as the team goes into their final week of preaching, and for the SMCI workers when they do their follow up with the students. Pray for Singapore as well!

Matt 9:37- The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few. God has prepared the harvest also in Singapore! We need not fly far into the world just to do God’s work. There are ready hearts out there, all around us. Harvesting is tiring work, yes, but God will give strength!

The question is: Are you willing to be the labourer?
